My PhotoImpact Animations
In addition to some interesting work in Maggie's GIF Animator class, I've played with some other animations, some by tutorial and some on my own. In order to avoid a page that takes forever to download, I've used the thumbnail layout used on my other PhotoImpact pages --click on the thumbnail to see the full-siz moving animation.

Okay, some comments:
The strange-looking guy is a response to a sort of "express yourself" challenge, and was my first attempt to do anything at all using ULEAD GIF Animator.
The pen writing my name was the result of one of the tutorials in the Beginners Workshop.
The two knife animations above were done in response to a challenge (after we had been asked to create the original Bowie knife as an object) to take our knives over to the animation forum and partake in a little target practice -- using the Happy Little Viking as a target! This seemed unfair, and I tried to make the target practice a little more even-handed. The first one was an attempt to keep the size of the .gif down. After looking at some of the other submissions, I realized I had to to a little better, and I produced the second, using most of the same objects.
The windmill is a minor variation on Rosie's Windmill tutorial -- I added more positions to smooth out the rotation and moved it from northern Europe to La Mancha! "Sancho -- my horse!"
The steamboat is from another of Rosie's tutorials
The angelfish, "Goin' to Roswell", the folder, and the four 'tweened' images are all from the animations course.
